Bigal River Conservation Project

                    The Bigal River Conservation Project (BRPC) is a conservation project whose main goal Biodiversity protection of an area of primary forest standing montane evergreen called Bigal River Reserve, located in the buffer zone of the  Sumaco National Park.

The number one goal is the conservation BRPC a primary rain forest area very wet and lowland evergreen called Bigal River Biological Reserve, located at an altitude of between 435 and 1100 meters high in the Eastern Sierra of Ecuador, in the south it borders the National Park Sumaco. The Bigal River Biological Reserve constitutes a buffer zone of prime importance since the Bigal River is precisely the limit Sumaco National Park with an area of 190 562.00 ha.
